Just curious, and a little bored. I'm Southern, i guess. Dad's family were Swiss-German that immigrated to SC in 1738, Mom's folks were Scottish indentured servants that came over in the late 1700's to NC.

That makes me a mixed up Redneck ??? :whistling:

100% Italian, but like 3rd generation, so all I know are bad words in Italian.

Not sure of a decent part of it. Most of the family is mixed eastern European, Lithuania, Poland, some Russia, some Germany, though so many countries and empires owned or controlled bits or pieces of the area at some point in the last few hundred years, Eastern European Jew pretty much sums it up.

1/2 Italian (3rd generation) and 1/2 Scottish (6th generation)...100% American mutt

okay, good, no irish yet, I can still post on the board :p :p

In all seriousness though there was a big rift where I grew up in NY between Italian and Irish and I'm only 24 years old. It's amazing how that stuff permeates.

Now I just like to joke about it. My fiance' is irish. She eats potatoes right out of the ground.

50% Mexican, 50% White.....

the fact that i can't speak Spanish doesn't go over to well here in Texas

I am an American, my heritage is Polish, Italian, Spanish, and Swedish.

Going way back to the ancestors who came here by ship - 95% hard headed German, 4% English and like everyone else 1% Irish .

My father’s mother is still a British citizen, so I’m one generation removed from English heritage on his side.

My Mother’s father is one generation removed from Southern German heritage so I guess that makes me half English and half German.

I wonder how long it will talk for each side of me to fight in another World War?
