Well, you'll get feedback regarding the holding on of great sticks... for any occasion (basically.. don't wait).

But you're gonna get a lot of other, less desirable, feedback from now on as things are. Maybe get up, dust off, swallow some pride, and offer up an honest mea culpa to the board in general. Not saying it will fix anything.. but we all have our bad days and it certainly couldn't hurt.
 
Mea culpa for what ? Shutting down that rude guy attacking me for asking a question? We’re all fucking grownups here aren’t we? Would he say that to my face? I guarantee he would not. Respect begets respect. I’m new here and I asked a question, if there are codes to abide by then dm me if i step out of line, don’t call me out rudely because I don’t take that kind of shit from anyone. I felt attacked I spoke my mind, I’d say the same thing face to face if someone accosted me that rudely in public and I would face the consequences that would ensue. I’m not a rude or uncouth person but I don’t let people step on my toes either. A lot of hostility here for the internet’s « friendliest cigar forum ». I didn’t come here to make waves and start shit, I’ll be more cautious in the future.

Dan - I've tried the 135th anniversary, standard v in various formats and the melenio v diadema. Only one I'd consider again is the lancero v at a push. May throw a O and G series in the next order...may not!
 
No, Is it his home though? If so there’s no signs and how the F was I supposed to know that it was a sensitive subject? Once again I’m new here, I have no clue how stuff works, I don’t even know how to post a pic properly. Tell me the rules and I’ll follow them or i’lll bounce, but say it in a fair way and if you have gripes dm me and we’ll squash it. No need to attack me, I’m not a simpleton and I can understand if there is principles and guidelines to follow just make them known in a polite way. Even if it is his home, shouldn’t you guys be happy to have someone new who can contribute and bring a fresh perspective and knowledge to the forum ? I might be new here but I’m not new to cigars, especially CC’s. I feel like I have a lot to learn but also a lot to offer which is why I signed up, and so far this place feels a bit like an old boys club with a lot of rudeness and saltiness.

First of all I was never rude to you and I never threatened you like you have. I explained that if you read the forums you would understand the rules we all abide by. We help everyone that abides by the rules. The people here are real family and will share both their knowledge and cigars if you act like a civilized person. Don't ever threaten a person on the Internet, it's not in your best interest.

Yep. It’s our home. You’re new. One day it may become your home too, but you really need to slow down and ease up a bit. The ‘eat a dick’ comment was over the line, and worth an apology.
 
Pat, maybe see about joining the vherf tonight (advice I still need to do myself here soon). Maybe after libations and sticks you could just talk a bit about yourself and show some of your faves.

I'd exhaust every effort of diplomacy first. You don't have to be the best of friends with everyone here. But for many, this is a home away from home and a 2nd family... or only family.

Read through the forums, old and new. I'm just a few months in and discover new stuff each time.

Ask questions, but contribute also.

A good start would be letting me store that Upmann jar for you. It's the equivalent of a "trust fall". 😛

Can you join the vherf if there's no staunch objections from the other participants?
