Hi Armer,
Remember, I'm a newbie at this, so take anything I say with a large grain of salt.
I picked up a fiver of the Melanios, probably from Cigar Page, a while back. When I got around to smoking one, I was blown away. They are strong, full-bodied (as I understand the term), but not harsh or ... whatever. Just a rich, delicious flavor. I've since smoked a few other Olivas, and they've all been good. But I like the Melanios, particularly the Maduros. The Connecticuts are much milder, but still pretty strong.
The Triple Maduro Camachos are awesome. I have a large Savoy full of Camachos of various sorts, and I really like all of them. The Corojos in particular. The Triple Maduros I think were "on sale" (as far as I can see, cigars being on sale is kind of like Harbor Freight having a "sale", but hey, I like Harbor Freight, too!). So I grabbed a box.
Most of this pile came from Cigars Daily, I think one of the Camacho groups came from Cigar Page (there were actually a couple more orders this week, I just didn't take pics of all of them). I much prefer ordering from Cigars Daily (or Zeal or Small Batch or Famous Smoke Shop), but now and then I can't resist the offerings elsewhere.
Smoke that Melanio and let us know what you think!
