Ribs in general used to be almost given away back in the 50's and 60's, as my Dad had said when I first got my smoker years ago.I remember those days. The Internet cooking show craze, and TV specials on BBQ and whatnot have eliminated any "cheap cuts" now. Even short rib used to be considered a cheap cut once upon a time. Most of the braising meats were. Not anymore. Here's an example of a recipe out of Food & Wine magazine.
