What’s on the grill/smoker today? 2020

I use pecan almost exclusively anymore. Really like apple and cherry too. Can't wait for my pear tree to be big enough to trim because I've heard good things.

I never get much of a ring with pecan, but I've gotten thick ones with all the same variables other than the wood, so it definitely has some impact on it.

No pics, but cooked hot dogs and beer wurst on the grill last night. Love them loaded up with spicy mustard and sauerkraut.

My daughter talked me into using this recipe app (Peprika) a couple of years ago and now I love it. Any recipe I try and like I download right to the app and it allows you to edit it to your taste. If you try the app I can e-mail this to you and it will slip right in. Hope you enjoy the dish.

I had my father in law over and I forgot to take a picture before serving. I had them sitting upside down to slice and now the bark is less than picturesque, but they were delicious!
