Weirdest flavor hint you ever tasted in a puff

“The President inserted a cigar into Ms Lewinsky's vagina, then put the cigar in his mouth and said: "It tastes good”

-Kenneth Starr

I had a Liga Privada T52 a month ago and I kid you not one of the draws
felt like I had a mouth full of rose petals. It only happened once.
Also a week ago I was smoking a Rocky Patel Sungrown and I had hints of Tomatoes!!
The T52 was in my humidor 24 days and the Patel was 66 days!

I had a Padron 2000 maduro that was terrible. It tasted of cod the whole way through! The cigar was part of a sampler I bought from Thompson. That's the first and last time I ordered from them.

Ahhh, but not the last time you hear from them.

Winston Churchill, the one Davidoff makes, taste like mushrooms to me. There's a slight hint of that flavor in most Davidoffs, but it's really strong in the WCs, almost like truffles. My first PAN 64 had a Thai lemongrass thing going for about 5 seconds in the middle that blew my mind. Don Lino Africa Kifaros always taste like hamburgers on the grill to me.

Those are the ones that really stand out.

Gotta get some Davidoffs to try then, that sounds pretty good.
Help a newbie out, what is a PAN 64? Because that sounds very interesting..

Ignore my newbness, search is my friend. PAN = Padron Anniversario Natural.
Carry on

PURPLE!

You'll have to read my grape Swisher Sweets review I did a while back!

I normally can't pick out flavors too well in cigars, but I did smoke a HdM Petit robusto one time that had a distinctive hint of nutmeg in it. Those are still one of my favorite smokes but I have yet to duplicate that flavor again since that one particular cigar.

Just to make you newbs to cigar smoking feel better, from what I understand, most Cubans laugh their asses off at those who taste stuff in their cigars other than tobacco.

Doc.

Doc.

And they don't use cutters.
They used to dip 'em in coffee, but that's less used these days.
Doc, I've tasted that for a long time. :sign:

First Torano 1916 Churchill I swear I tasted something floral, roses to be specific. Never happened again.
