Hey everyone! Getting married next month (May 2nd). Super excited and wanted to enjoy a smoke with my groomsmen the day of the wedding before we start to get ready and what not. I want something that will pair with a good quality cup of coffee (or two). Just looking for suggestions on a good celebratory stick? Also open to suggestions on the coffee to pair it with. Thanks.

Well Benjamin, you have gotten a couple good suggestions here and I will add an endorsement for the Work Of Art Maduro. Depending on how accomplished your wedding party is, you may want a natural wrapper as they are a little less strong.

Good luck!

Now .... is this for your groomsmen or for your bridesmaids?:D

User error on my gender selection lol. I am male, groomsmen indeed. Thanks for pointing that out. I should also clarify that out of the 7 groomsmen, 3 of them will actually sit down and enjoy a stick with me. The others don't really partake. The couple that will are just about as inexperienced as I am.

You'll want short smokes, just because. You, sorry your soon to be wife, probably won't want you spending 2 hours on a cigar and smelling like one either.

Chad @CBoukal and Tim @MX both offer great suggestions.

I'd also suggest:

Ashton VSG Tres Mystique
Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles

We will actually have an ample amount of time. Wedding is at 4PM. The guys will be coming over to my place in the late morning to hang out for a while before we even have to start getting ready. So a 2 hour smoke is not off the table by any means.

I'd plan on bringing tooth brushes and changes of clothes to smoke in.

My wife would have KILLED me if I showed up to the wedding smelling like smoke.

Oh yeah no we will not be smoking in our attire for the wedding by any means. And they will actually all have ample time to shower and brush and get all nice and clean lol

I missed the morning part. Might I suggest the link below. It's a naturally sweet cigar that is great in the am IMO.
Sobremesa Brulee

It's also not a strong cigar which your groomsmen who aren't typically cigar smokers will apprecaite

Just looked over this stick. Sounds like it would phenomenal with a good cup of joe.

My suggestion would be something from the Dunbarton Muestra de Saka line. They are great cigars and each one comes in its own coffin. That way, the guys that don’t partake could give their sticks back to you, or someone else, and keep the coffin as a cool memento of your wedding.

Heck you may even be able to find a local place to laser engrave the coffins!

Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniv. Champagne - Corona Extra (5.6” X 46)

This is not too big, not too small, It’s mild/medium, I think it’s a “Goldilocks” cigar for a group smoke. Won’t give a Nic kick to the newer smoker, but a more experienced smoker will likely enjoy it, as well, even if they normally prefer a stouter stick. Easily found as a 5-pack. In my experience, quality control is always terrific, never had a bad one.

Damn, I need to order some of these now! :)
