I still remember walking up and down Beaver ave chanting this.
Michi- WHO>?!?!! Scary first half then we showed up.
Next week: Ohio State.

My brother and I decided that we would root for Peen State at the Orange Bowl a few years ago because the PSU fans were so much friendlier than all the FSU fans.

We got a bit tired of the whole WE ARE.........PENN STATE bit though.

Anyway, my brother saw someone wearing a PSU shirt not too long ago on the Illinois State campus and he challenged them with a "WE ARE" shout. They had no idea how to respond to him, so we decided that there are a bunch of weakassed PSU fans out there. Whether his conclusion is accurate or not, I don't know, but if you don't know the whole 'WE ARE' bit, what the hell are you doing wearing the school colors???
 
How can you not like Joe Pa and the timeless jerseys? Got room on that bandwagon for a Cyclone fan in mourning?
 
Next Saturday will likely be for both winning the Big 10 and getting to the National Championship title game at the same time.

Please folks, don't get to far ahead of yourselves. USC isn't going away and neither Bama or Penn State will run the tables. Texas isn't at the finish line yet but they put up a hell of a performance last night against Mizzou. I'll be rooting for the Buckeyes this weekend with the thought that if USC doesn't make it to the BCS game we will get to squish the best the Big-10 has to offer in the Rose Bowl (again).

Absolutely! I may be a southern boy, but I used to live in Bethlehem when I was a kid so the Nittany Lions have always been my favorite college football team.
 
I think next week will determine if Penn State sweeps through their season. If they can get past OSU, I just don't see anyone taking them down. Not unless they stumble badly against Michigan State. So if they do get through next week, I think it's nearly a foregone conclusion they'll get a title shot. The thing of it is, I'm one of the biggest Nittany Lion fans there are, and I don't think they're better than #6 this season. They're benefiting from weak Big 10 competition this year and the fact that the Big 10 doesn't have a conference championship game. Them conference championship games is where a lot of great teams falter after battling hard all season long.

I've already got Rose Bowl tickets lined up, so I'm torn between wanting them to play for it all in the BCS title game and wanting them to come to Pasadena and play local to me.
 
By the way, I think it would be mildly amusing and highly frustrating if 'SC and Penn State both skipped the Rose Bowl and played for the title shot against each other. There's a good chance of that happening.
 
I am sorry to say that OSU is not a really good team this year. We will roll them and keep on going till we run the table.
Don't underestimate this team, we are very good team averaging 45 a game. Go LIONS!!!!
