I remember my younger days when we could go (drive) to vegas for the weekend for under $125 including gambling. Believe it or not, $1 balckjack tables we numerous, and Slots O Fun had $0.25 blackjack and craps.

I'll guess $225 excluding air and hotel.

Ok, maybe they were $4, but they were cheap compared to what the casinos charge.

And I had to cancel my trip sue to work and money restraints, I should have evaluated the situation more carefully before I booked this. I will still hold a contest though for all of the people who post to this thread by tonight at midnight (july 28) pacific time. I will put numbers into a hat that correspond to post numbers int he thread, whoever I draw will win a fiver. I hope thats satisfactory.

And burro is disqualified for calling me a loser and placing judgment on me, assuming I would dick people on here around with a response like $0. :D
 
Bummer. On the bright side, perhaps canceling the trip kept you from suffering some grave misfortune--financial, venereal, or otherwise.
 
That sucks! But like The Green Monkey said, maybe it was a good thing! I would have said 200 bucks, btw. I s'pose it depends how much alcohol you consume.
 
I consume a lot of alcohol... more than average I would say. I spent $1,000 on alcohol in vegas in 2007. :D
