Unhappy Thread

I have another colonoscopy and endoscopy tomorrow because "the prep" wasn't right a couple months ago.

I showed the doc the instructions I got from the Va and the instructions that came with the prep medication, which both say to stop eating solids when you start the medication, the evening before the procedure. He said I cannot eat anything solid for 36 hours prior to the procedure.

I am not taking any chances! I felt bad for the doc last time, he was very kind and professional about it but that had to be a shitty situation for him.

Oh well, I needed to lose a few pounds/inches anyway!:)
If I ever go down that road again, I believe I'll start 36 hours prior as well. I didn't have the issue you had. I drank the gallon plus of the "cleanser", over the course of an hour or two, and for four more hours it didn't exit. I was walking back and forth on my lane because if I sat down, I was going to vomit. Worst I've felt in a LONG time. I figure a little every so often, over thirty six hours, would allow it to slowly work. Gettin old ain't for sissies!

My home was built in 07. I live in a neighborhood where my expensive HOA fees pay for outdoor maintenance. Recently my neighbor got water in their basement (related?). Since the area was still getting too much water, she put in a work order for an irrigation issue. The gentlemen found a couple sprinkler heads that were covered by a recent grass sodding. Here's the kicker, the rain gutter and downspout from my home was causing the build up (puddles) between our homes. Observe the pictures to see the absolute shit show of a job the builder did with the underground connections. The workers that did this should be shot (okay, not really, but maybe).20220725_160215.jpg20220725_160240.jpg20220725_160207.jpg

Hate to say, it doesn’t last unless you like doing that prep every couple days lol.

I’m good for another 10 years. ;)

Wow, that’s ridiculous! There’s no way that was an accident.

Is there any recourse?

This did not affect me directly, though after yesterday's post, I need to talk to my neighbor. One weatherman in St. Louis said this is a 1 in 100 year event. Not sure if I did it right. I'll edit a couple times if I need to. It rained 9-12" in my county last night. You might have to have facebook to see it. If you can't and you want to see it go to almost any St. Louis news source or youtube St. Charles County rain and I'm sure you'll see plenty.

Maybe some of this should go in the happy thread.

Got a migraine at 3:00 a.m. but couldn't take anything because of the impending colonoscopy and endoscopy. Felt as bad as I have ever felt most of the day today.

But the good news is the colonoscopy and endoscopy both went well and I feel good now.

Wish people wouldn't cancel timers if they don't know why it was set or what it was for. 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Kinda my fault too cause I forgot but thats why I set reminders

Did someone cancel your reminder to take your Metimucel Nate?

When your wife doesn’t tell you she knocked over your Chemex and you don’t find out until you’re making coffee and it runs all over the counter.

You then make an adjustment and use a Yeti 😂. Not the best pour over method, but it worked this morning.
