Unhappy Thread

have had my 'summer' car for 8 years now but damn it, Minnesota isn't really a great place for a convertible, as a summer car.
Boxster S is still in the garage, in hibernation, tires over inflated to avoid flat spots, wipers off the windshield, battery on trickle charge, and stabilizer in the tank. Just a couple more weeks 'til this evil Minnesota weather gets it's shit together (fingers crossed). 😅
I'm not happy, yet ...............

So, on the USPS note...

After the better part of two years here, I just found out today that the mailroom only mails outbound on Wednesdays (there are folks here much longer than us who had no idea when told, either). So, I apologize retroactively for some packages that have taken longer than seemingly should have to arrive -- except for Tall Paul's SS shipment, which was just a Postal Service holiday clusterfuck, any way you look at it. I'll be sure to keep this in mind any time I mail things out in the future...

Looking like Jeff's package to me for delivered to the wrong box...
 
Had a little flare up of my sciatica yesterday evening. Not fun. Hoping things relax today. Fuggin' nixed my planned evening smoke as I didn't want to bother using crutches to go out onto the patio.

Might have to move this to the Happy Thread by the end of the day!

I called @smellysell Justins post office this morning and they said there was a new carrier yesterday, they would have the regular carrier check and call me back.

They just called and said it was available, Justin can get in now.

Of course they could still fuck it up but let's see what Justin says when he gets home.

I get it, and I don't hold it against the band. However, I'm legit pissed at Frankie for being an asshole and getting kicked out of the band. I can literally hear his vocals on these songs in my head, and this could have possibly been their best and most emotion-evoking album so far. Well, your loss may be my gain. I have never heard of them (sorry) so I put on youtube and I'm listening to a few tunes. So...thanks. Hope you gain an ear for the new singer in time.
