Troya Classico

I don't think this is a bad smoke, just the $9 to $12 price tag for a Nicaraguan made Pepin puts it at the same price point as Tatuaje Browns and $3 to $4 more than the Tat Red, Pepin Blue or Black which IMHO are superior smokes for the money.

Seems they didn't go over well at my B&M. On today for $8.75, buy 2 get 1. They had the stock already bagged - looked like 6-8 boxes. I got a few to try.

Many MANY stores around denver/boulder did events for the classico, I am guessing the buy 2 get 1 might have been event left overs or something.

Another vote for "meh."

I am finding that most Pepin blends are not too my liking. They are not bad, per se, but I find that about 1/2 way through I get bored with it. Had a JJ the other day and started off thinking...'this is great' then half hour later was bored. Ok, I am awaiting the floggings. :D

I like the flavor but the value is lacking. Too expensive but a great cigar, IMO.

I had one after supper and I loved it. However, I'm with you. Ain't paying that kind of money for what I can get in a much less expensive cigar. I have the same love/hate with CAO Sopranos.
