Hillbilly Steaks has yet to confirm if the Upland location is good for him or that he is aware of the audible for it. Someone may need to call him. I would, but I'm somehow developing a cold in the middle of summer and my voice sounds like Lurch at the moment. It's up in the air right now if I will make it. Trying to coax myself into a quick recovery.
 
THE PLACE IN UPLAND CLOSES AT 7 PM! WE NEED TO FIND ANOTHER LOCATION.

Just spoke to Geoff and Erick. Since the place in Upland closes at 7 PM tonight, let's cancel it and plan on meeting some place else on Thursday night.

I thought we were meeting at Azucar on Thursday? I can make it to Monrovia also but I think we all need to get on the same page here or our guest is going to get pissed! :laugh:

I'm down for Thursday in Monrovia. I've missed a bunch of Herfs. I'll be tied up making wedding invitations tonight... Yeah I know.

Like Ray, I too am a bit under the weather. I have a bit of a throat infection, and hacking cough. Crossing my fingers that all will be good by Thursday night, it would be awsome to meet Hillbilly himself. :thumbs: Not to mention I have missed a couple of Monrovia Herf's becasue of school and work. :(
 
I'm right there with 'ya, Adrian. Full blown sick now. Hacking chest cough, runny nose, rapid fire sneezing, etc. Sweating one minute; chills the next. HTF did I get like this in the middle of summer? :angry:

I feel bad about Pacific Wine. I know I've been there later than that. Even midweek. Might have been a special event for them. Darnit.

It was great meeting Erick finally, great guy, and obviously very knowledgeable when it comes to smoked/bbq'd meats. :)
