Top Shelf Margarita Recipe

3oz tequila
1oz Cointreau
1oz lime juice

My secret ingrediant is 7Up. Not so secret any more, I guess. Add an ounce or two before shaking.

add ice, shake & strain into glass.

Sup HBS,
You should check out the Patrón website. They have some pretty good recipes, IMO.

I've been making the Chili's Presidente Margaritas and they are fanstastic.

1 1/4 ounces Sauza Commemorativo tequila
1/2 ounce Cointreau liqueur
1/2 ounce Presidente Mexican brandy
4 ounces liquid sweet and sour cocktail mix (I like to use Margarita Mix instead)
Splash of fresh lime juice (NOT ROSE'S)

3oz tequila
1oz Cointreau
1oz lime juice

The way we do it at the bar I work at is add a splash of OJ to that for the secret ingredient. Give it a shot.

My favorite is very similar to those above. But, have dialed in just the right mix for my tastes.

2oz Don Julio Anejo
1.25oz Grand Marnier
a splash (.25 oz) of lemonade or (Newmans Limeade)
1/3 of a lime

shake it up pour it over some rocks and what a treat, I have a friend wo insists that it tastes like sweet tarts. All I know is its damn good.

I will have to try it with OJ.

So is it 5:00 yet this is making me thirsty?

1/2 oz Cointreau® orange liqueur
1/2 oz Grand Marnier® orange liqueur
2 1/2 oz sweet and sour mix
1 oz lime juice
1 1/2 oz tequila

I've used 1 oz of triple sec instead of the first two and it is still good, I always juice my own limes.

Here is a Linky to a bunch of recipes.
