Today's Smoke II

Yesterday I tried my first Tat Black and was not disappointed. It was an amazing smoke! Today I just lit up a Padron 64 Maduro which does not suck either.

Started with a RASCC. Now I'm working on a LG small batch 2. The RASCC was good..but this LG is AWESOME. It would make for a great herfing stick.

At a local herf today, I enjoyed: PAN Imperial, Cohiba Siglo III, and God of Fire by Carlito 2006 Double Robusto.

Just got done with an excellent non-Pepin Padilla 1932 Toro. I wasn't impressed with the non-Pepin Lancero I had a few months ago but this cigar was what I remembered a nice 1932 being.

I lit up the RyJ Reserva real robusto given out at the 2008 CP herf. Surprisingly decent. I wonder if they furnished us with better than average quality sticks or if this is their standard. Nonetheless, I don't think I'd ever pay for one of these, but I wouldn't turn one down either.

Started off with a Hoyo Dark Sumatra espresso...not as good as the last one I had, but still not bad. I didn't have my normal coke or coffee either, just water so that might have had something to do with it. Got 4 more that will take a little longer nap.

Although I lit this one up late last night, it burned into the morning. So technically I think it still qualifys for todays smoke. A Cojonu 2009. It was really good.

Out on the porch ordering some smokes with my birthday money, having a 601 Oscuro Trunco (green label). Pretty good smoke, a nice earthy spice to it. We'll see how the rest shapes up!

Cohiba Secretos - very tatsy PC. Cocoa/coffee undertones. Great smoke but I like Trini Reyes better in this size.

Cohiba Esplendido '06, courtesy of Amateuraficionado. Thanks, bro!

After getting nic sickness for two days after my last try, I finally got the gull to try another Oliva V robusto. My tolerance is much higher now, so I could actually enjoy it. However, it was the wrong cigar to smoke with the sun beating down on the deck. Oh well, at least it didn't make me ill.

Had a nice Tatuaje Reserva J21 that had about a year and a half of down time. It has held up well and lost nothing. A great smoke or as AVB would call it...an ace.

A while ago I finished a Cuaba Salomone. Right now I'm smoking a Por Larranaga Magnifico while watching the NBA finals.

Yesterday at the NY HERF I had a Padron 80th Maduro (Thanks to Walt, klipsch), an original Padilla Signature 1932 as well as a Opus Perfectionx.

Today I had a pre release LFD Limitado IV thanks to Barry @ LFD

San Cristobal Fabuloso.
El Cobre torpedo.
Tatuaje Verocu #9.

. . . and a bit too much Woodford Reserve. It was a rough afternoon but I'm all better now. :D

New blend Padilla Miami that was terribly underfilled and the draw was like sucking air through a straw.
'99 Los Statos Delirios that was pretty good for less than a buck a stick
'04 Partagas Culebra that was pretty tasty.

Finally able to smoke a bit and enjoyed myself till the last puff. I passed out to a few friends and Opus A, Avo 80th and some random Anejos. I myself enjoyed a wonderfull Padron 40th, we sat by a fire with a few drinks and puffed the night away. Good to around nice friends and enjoy some good smokes. I really do miss smoking!!

I'm smoking an AF 858 Sungrown. I hated these last year, but this one's pretty good. It's aging well.
