I tried my best to find these after the game... but they were sold out everywhere. how are they?
They were only sold in TN. I called every shop that Tim Ozgener announced would receive them, which was only around 15 shops if that. Honestly, it was probably closer to 10. It was not a big release. I think it was around 100 to 300 boxes, but it may have been even less than that. I found one shop who was willing to ship them to me in Massachusetts. I secured the box prior to the release, and then later called and paid the day it was released. From what I could tell, most shops only got a handful of boxes.
I think the Firsat is their best cigar, so I really enjoyed it. It was definitely a Firsat, but allegedly a special blend of it, and it was in a special size for that cigar. That being said at the end of the day it is an above average cigar; not exceptionally spectacular, but a very enjoyable smoke. What made it an exceptional smoke? Pairing it with a

BTW, if you ever have the chance, I would try to attend one of his Behind the Blend events at your local cigar establishment. He has not been to my area, but I have heard from a good friend in Texas that the events are excellent. You basically smoke four smaller cigars (short story-ish) of strictly one type of single leaf tobacco so like a cigar that's binder, filler and wrapper are all the same, such as only like only Mexican San Andres or only Nicaragua Jalapa. Then later you smoke, two of their cigars that use two of these as their components so you can learn what flavor profile etc each leaf contributes to the overall product.
