Enjoying the view of my bike for its last hours as being mine. New owner is on his way to pick it up. This EP Carrrillo dark ritual was a 10 pack box I bought on a whim, turned out to be an excellent cigar.

What bike are you getting next?

Last night at the Corona cigar Company in Lake Mary Florida I smoked this 1981 Bolivar Lonsdale followed by this little Cabañas from 1990 or 2000. I don’t remember which box I grabbed it from it may be the later as I don’t think they had the wrappers like this in 1990. My buddy who is from Cuba was smoking his no-name Cubans that he gets from friends and family. They have really light wrappers and are truly enjoyable smoke. Much milder than most Habanos. I’ll get a picture next time and maybe do a review on them.

Tonight it’s a Añejo 48 first release.

20 year old Avo Signature Double Corona. Cold draw was like a back room in an Antique Shop no one’s been in for a month. Easy draw, very smooth, smoke texture is wispy, flavors are medium: light aged cedar and tobacco, dried fruit, slight mustiness. Sweet cream, baking spices without the tingle.
Incredible.

Yeah, we got some pea size but not much. Just lightening and generous boomers.

Does your box have a "Maduro" sticker on the inside lid that looks like an afterthought? And kinda crooked?

I went through several of those boxes a bunch of years ago; really underrated cigar, IMHO.
