I enjoyed a Rocky Patel Edge today. Solid smoke.

Byron - Very interesting smoke with a wrapper and construction that’s beats anything I’ve seen before. Really delicate flavors until the last third during which the flavor ramped up significantly with a little spice added in. It was good but didn’t seem to have any earth shattering revelations that I thought would turn it into my new holy grail, but for some reason I could not walk away from it; nubbed it. Will have to try the the atabey and maybe another Byron to ultimately determine whether they deserve a space in the humidor especially considering the price point on these. Either way I’d highly recommend checking one out for. Yourself.

I used to love these about 10 years ago, which is the last time I had one. Would have to see if I still do since my palate has really changed over the years and I no longer enjoy many that I used to love, including Opus X
