An OR La Riqueza Petit Corona while working on the wood pile some more today. Can't say this for all Nicaraguan tobacco, but damn these have aged well! Chocolate, nuts, and a salty/earthy profile.

Nothing like the warmth and comfort of wood heat! Not to mention the $180 a month electric bill when everyone else is complaing of a $300 - $400 a month one.

AM: A ubiquitous Party Short. Recent cabs have been fantastic. Right now: JL#2. Total sleeper. Smoking good ROTT and clear upside for aging. I'm deep on these, solid smokes.

Celebration and honor smokes, AM, Opus X Belicoso XXX, PM San Cristóbal de La Habana La Fuerza. The Opus was ancient, was from the Tod fathers stash, and displayed all the traditional aged Opus X goodness. The La fuerza, I've never had and was sent my way by one of you kind bastages.

Among the best releases of cigars ever by Pete/Pepin. Shame to see the brand ultimately flounder.

Partagas Perfectos from the mid 50's. Easily the oldest stick I've ever smoked. Thank you so very much to the kind BOTL who gifted this fine cigar. Perfect smoke for a birthday, a particularly special one in which I am thankful for the friends and family I have.

You are correct! And it took about 10 to 12 years for these to start tasting great…
