Today's Smoke 2016

Which size, Ed? I was contemplating picking up the Prism (corona gorda) the next time I went shopping.

Got the Sublime, can't handle a Gorda. Very even burn, great ash,,easy on the palate. Got over an hour with while at our herf.

Recommend you give it a try.

Decided to pull out my Cigwar for work today. Lots of strength but not much in the flavor realm. Burn is pretty wonky and needs some small corrections. Overall a decent cigar if you find one but not one to hunt for.

ETA: This one is from the 2014 production not the 15.

I'm almost too embarrassed to post this. Laid up at home due to a significant running injury (blown ankle) and finally broke down and decided I would hobble into my garage and risk the wrath of she-who-should-be-obeyed by stinking up the joint with a cigar. I did a blind pick out of one of the humidor' two big draws and came out with ... a Gurkha, the 15 year cellar aged one. I had forgotten I picked this up over a year ago when I was just starting and I didn't know any better. F**k it. Let me try it and if it totally sucks I'll ditch it instead of letting it take up space. Well it's not horrible. But not good either. That is all I'm going to say. And now I can say I smoked a Gurkha. /slinks out of the room

I've had one those and it's not bad. Probably one of the few Gurkhas that doesn't leave a waxy finish in my mouth.

It's pretty one dimensional so far. Construction is actually pretty good, but I'm getting bored.

Niko sent me a Ghurka, years ago, that was pretty delish. Discontinued, and I've forgotten the name, but I'll never forget that cigar. You just never know.

Tried my first San Cristobal last night, gifted by secret santa!

Really great smoke. Pretty straightforward flavor profile. A bold nutty wood flavor, and a hint of cocoa. Thanks to my SS for that one! :)

Started Friday with a JdN Antaño 1970 lancero, because that's how I roll. Loved the Consuls already, but my Secret Santa got me started on these lanceros, and they will be regular box purchases. For the money, just great smokes.
