Today's Smoke 2016

La flor dominicana l400 if I'm not mistaken. Very good beast of a cigar. I've had the robusta size before and enjoyed it.
 
Smoked an H Upmann Connie A last night. I did a video review, but it ended up being like 19 mins....so I don't know if I'm going to post it or not. I need to streamline my comments for the next one! Anyway, it was excellent!

Having one of those moments where I can't stop staring at the cigar I'm smoking. A blockbuster of a 1997 SLR Prominente. The leather in this is taking me back to my childhood, standing in the outfield in Little League, chewing on the laces of my baseball glove. That salty/leathery taste is very pronounced.

Opus X Angel's Share Fuente Fuente...my first one of these, very fresh and it definitely had some nice rich, sweet flavors. Good smoke, but I'm more of an Opus X "Devil's Cut" kind of guy, in the form of a fresh No. 5. Those things are definitely devilish.
 
Quesada Oktoberfest Bavarian '15. Paired with a brown ale this is nice.

They all were special but the Cohiba was close to perfection.



Today...

AVO 22 European, great cigar that keeps getting better by the year. Wish I had purchased more cylinders.
 
Cromagnon Anthropology after lunch followed by some chocolate chip cookies.
