Today's Smoke 2015

Quesada Q D'etat Daga . . . long figurado, almost a salomon.  Haven't had a Quesada before . . . got bombed with this one yesterday by my best friend Thomas, who was in town from Chappell Hill over the weekend.  Damn fine smoke!

Viaje C-4 for my walkdown. Enjoyable but not spectacular. Won't be buying the crate the B&M has in the back room.

Liga Privada No. 9 Toro on the drive home...couple of false starts to really get it going, decent but I kept wishing the awesome aromas the smoke was giving off translated into actual flavor.  Way shorter finish than I expected.  T52 on deck for tomorrow....

Im learning still and you guys are wealth of information. I had my Cohiba Robustos I picked up on vacation.
Very nice.

E.P Carrillo INCH Short Run 2014.
Or at least part of one.
I got so disgusted with the lousy way it was burning I finally put it out.
I have two boxes of these things and neither one burns worth a damn.
None of my other cigars have burn problems.
It's just the Short Runs 2014's.
The Maduros smoke fine.

Just had a Herrara Esteli Short Corona Gorda. The 4 7/8 by 46 stick lasted me well over an hour. First and second thirds were quite boring but the last third was very good. Wouldn't buy again given the price.

Got around to smoking an 09 Lusi that I traded for along with my neighbors famous Manhattans and both were excellent. First Lusi that I've enjoyed.

I made the time for a lovely AG Hemingway Short Story last night. Some CCs arrive in the post yesterday so I was halfway tempted to launch into one the them, but opted to lest them rest for a bit of time first.

Tatuaje Reserva Petite Cazadore...this one fresh from being unwrapped from a new box last night. Rich, chewy, like smoking a nicotine laced tootsie roll. First one I tried was last weekend, not nearly as fresh from the B&M...these things definitely develop from candy to little firecracker.
