For sure man. I was definitely impressed by that! I certainly wouldn’t have caught it
I think you are on to something. IMHO, the 2007 PL Robustos de Larranaga RE Asia Pacific was tops from fresh-5 years. I smoked one at about 7 yrs old, while enjoyable, was not the same, had mellowed and muted out some. I found a rather enjoyable citrus acidity in them young, kind of similar to what is in many recent/current production Romeo y Julieta, along with what was a honey graham cracker like sweetness. I’ll look for what that box code was, as it was a CP split I had arranged. From 2014, these are pretty good... can’t see them aging too much longer, they are mild to begin with. So if you have Picadores, smoke them between 3 to 5 years old, or 20 plus... can’t go wrong

Agree... one of my favorite breakfast cigars... Crazy how powerful the PLPC’s are fresh, and so mellow and sweet after 7 to 10 years...I think you are on to something. Love the ashtray too! This was a really good (O.k., great) 2014 RASS… I believe 5 years is perfect for the dress box, and 7 to 10 years for the cab...
