Today’s Smoke 2018

To be honest... I was a little disappointed. I bought a sampler from a vendor here last year and this one wasn't as good as the others from the sampler. The draw was super loose, almost airy (if that's a thing) and the flavor wasn't that great. I tried to smoke it slow due to the loose draw so it wouldn't get bitter, but that didn't seem to help much.

That is such a thing! Too loose can make it hot and ruin the flavor substantially.

Got a bundle of 1966 from Johnny. Ah that smell. One rott. Some mongrel in her as a few would say. Wonderful construction. Putting them down for a rest after the freeze. Happy I got these.

Watching the Derby.
Smoking a Reynaldo Robusto Custom I bought from him about a year ago. This was the last of the robustos I had (most of them given away), and it was almost candela in color, on the stronger side, but many different notes/stages, and full of flavor. This is at the perfect age to smoke this.
Graham cracker, honeycomb, cookies.
