I still like them. The Noir is in my regular rotation.I always enjoyed them as a Padron alternative. Haven't had one in maybe 2 years however, so maybe they've changed.

How’s your hike going Rob?View attachment 20325 PLPC is my favorite morning smoke, but it works well after a long day of hiking too. I had to trade one of theee for a Bic lighter this morning when the Bic and torch I brought both went Tanho Uniform this morning.
That’s a sexy Cigar.

Was it a Ghurka?I’m embarrassed to say what I smoked today. I was burning brush and didn’t want to pay attention. Let’s just say I ended up using the stick as kindling.
Almost as bad. DR Cohiba. Was it a Ghurka?
I really like this cigar. It's no Padron ... but for the money ... it is something I like to reach for. AAMOF... I bought several boxes of the old Red band and the Noir is in my regular rotation. The new Murcielago (black and silver band) are a bit richer and have a smoother finish ... but the price is double. Might as well smoke a Padron. Sorry you don't like them.
