Today’s Smoke 2018

I always enjoyed them as a Padron alternative. Haven't had one in maybe 2 years however, so maybe they've changed.

I still like them. The Noir is in my regular rotation.

I smoked one I had for a couple years yesterday and was shocked, shocked at how good it was. Smoked about 3/4 of it then it began to get funky, probably because of how hot it became because I tried to finish it quickly.

PLPC is my favorite morning smoke, but it works well after a long day of hiking too. I had to trade one of these for a Bic lighter this morning when the Bic and torch I brought both went Tango Uniform this morning.

ETA: I’ve had way worse that’s for sure. I used to think these were pretty good.

I really like this cigar. It's no Padron ... but for the money ... it is something I like to reach for. AAMOF... I bought several boxes of the old Red band and the Noir is in my regular rotation. The new Murcielago (black and silver band) are a bit richer and have a smoother finish ... but the price is double. Might as well smoke a Padron. Sorry you don't like them.
