Since I started on CP, I've used pictures of my daughter, Miranda, as my avatar. She's truly been the joy of my life. Well, she's three and a half now and while our little family has been just wonderful, we've wanted to grow it just a bit. And now it seems that this wish will come to pass. She's going to be a big sister come next spring. 
We went for an ultrasound this afternoon and little nipper #2 has checked out fine. Bun is in the oven.
Now all you young bucks may have a different perspective on becoming parents. But with myself and my wife straddling 40 years of age, a healthy child is by no means a given. This would essentially be our last chance at having a second. The years pass too quickly. *sigh*
So if you're smoking tonight, or this week, light one up for me and my family. A healthy child is a blessing from heaven and God willing, next April I'll be having a "guess the baby's name" contest. :thumbs:

PS. Junior's first ultrasound portrait has him looking like Homer Simpson with the big bald head and what looks like 5-O'clock shadow. My wife doesn't see it at all but I'm convinced it'll be a boy.
