Damn. Just got back from Corolla yesterday. The smoke was pretty bad when we were leaving (from the fire in the Great Dismal Swamp) Hope it cleared out a little for ya. We're heading back down August 9. Went 4 wheelin' with the wild horses in Corova... that was cool.

The smoke got really bad in Rodanthe so we packed up and headed for Virginia Beach. Pity, we wanted to stay in the OBX at least another week. Unfortunately, the damn smoke followed us into VB with the wind coming out of the West. It was bad for about 1
1/2 days, almost forced us away again but and then thankfully it moved off with a change back to an easterly wind.
