Things you over hear in the walk-in humidor.

"Got anything that tastes like swisher sweet?"

And the answer was.......

I like reading this thread because there is really funny schizzle that happens when people give the illusion they know what they are doing and........they don't. Keep 'em coming.

the harsh reality seems to be that most B&M people dont have even half the knowledge of people that are active in cigar forums. not that all of them are like that, but it's kind of sad that you wouldnt invest more time to study up on the industry that you are trying to make money in. granted, these kind of people are not limited to the cigar industry either.

sorry, dont have any stories other than the "it's not mold, it's plume" that others have already mentioned.

Technically this wasn't in a humidor....
Guy keeps telling me on another forum that I better freeze my sticks.

I think he's got a beetle phobia. Cheese and crackers, man, it ain't that serious.

So at the same B&M as what started this thread, today.
I hear the hired help giving a couple of noobs a crash course on CC's.

Turns out they are all $20-60 a stick. And the only real difference is that Cuba has different soil. Also, he talked in circles for a few minutes about "Casa Habanos" and then some shit about floor sweepings and fake sticks...

I facepalmed, picked out a couple ECCJ and got out of there as he went into a monologue about Padron cigars.
