30 posts in just under an hour about something as mundane as a hot dog. I guess that proves a food forum might be useful.

When it comes to hot dogs, if it ain't Kosher, I ain't eating it. I like Nathan's, but they're a little salty, I prefer Hebrew National, they answer to a higher authority then the USDA.

Just got back from the store after reading all this. Picked me up some Hebrews, buns, chili, cheese and a bag of chips for dinner. And I thought all I had to worry about was cigars hanging around here!!

i gotta agree with fivebyfifty on this one. Papaya King or Grey's Papaya has the best dogs in NY.Papaya King with 1with red onions 1 with spicy brown mustard and a large papaya mango

Only one thing really matters:
It must be slow cooked on an open fire. After that, a dill pickle sliver, chili sauce, sliver of sharp cheddar cheese, an d spicy mustard. If it comes out of water you are more than likely in the city and then nothing you can do to it makes it good![]()
