THe Week from Hell

AS some of you know, I lost my Grand father last week. We burried him Monday. Tuesday I get a phone call from my wife who tells me a very close friend of the family (like a second mom) passed away that morning. What the hell!! Now today we were told that my wifes Grandfather was only given 3-5 days.

Now the ols wives tale is Deaths come in 3's and 7's. I think after my wifes grandfather passes, I'm going to turn my phone off!!

Thanks for all the kind words fellows. Its been rough but they say deaths come in 3's and 7's so I hope this will be the end of it all. The wifes grandfather isn't expected to make it through tonight so we went over and said our goodbyes and just let him know we were there. The worst part is he has a Grand daughter serving us in Iraq and she cant be reached. So when she gets back to her CO she will be hit with this.

I talked to her CO tonight and he assured me she would be on the next hop home to pay her respects. That was cool of him.

The best thing though, is right here. Some of you I have met, but only briefly and most I have not at all but the reach out is incredable. You are trully all brothers. Thank you.
