Nope - it's in my hot little hands. 30 Dec US time to 5 Jan Oki Time - 6 days must be a new record!

No Damage - looked very nice and well wrapped. 20C (68F) and 64% when I opened it..... I put the dig-meter inside the ziplock to check for a disparity (wter pillows inside and the meter was outside) Registered 68 after 10 minutes in the bag. I'm gonna send it to Bill and we'll see how it reads there.

Just checked this out - Two of the Tubos shattered. I emptied it and wiped it down. Then I rerouted some of the bubble wrap around the remaining tubos to see if this could prevent a re-occurance.

Oh... I liberated the cigars from their destroyed houses....

Shouldn't... I took the only one's exposed. The rest are still safe in their tubes, or in baggies.

Concur - they look great. Now that they are each wrapped in bubble, they should be fine, unless the box gets crushed.

Question to our fine host: RE: CUABA Distinguidos (ISOM)

The Cuaba Distinguidos were produced in limited quantities to celebrate the new millenium. Cuaba's premier use of the Distinguidos shape was produced for Cuaba especially for this limited reserve. These cigars are now over 4 years old, and full boxes come in their Ceramic Jar with a humidifier built in. :D

Wondering if you have the ceramic jar? I've only been able to find these here. Seems they are on the pricey side of $40.00 each.

Very generous of you to include it in the pass. Now what could possibly match that for a trade? :thumbs: Just curious....not that I have anything close in my humble humi. But it's a great learning experience.
 
My bad! I love Cuabas, but I have a heck of a time telling which shape is which. I got this name from a website, and it seemed to match the dimensions of the stick, but this is NOT a Distinguido (should have gone to MRN aka The Source).

Now I can't remember which of the 2 vitolas I have in stock I put in. :(

If it's short, under 5 inches, it's a Traditionales. If it's longer, it's an Exclusivo.

And I now see, in looking in the humi, that I have some Partagas perfectors that I thought were Cuabas. Time to go shopping! :)

In response to his pathetic whining and pleading, I'm gonna add Dixieland , aka BO, to the pass order after geldor. Hopefully, he'll PM you with his addy as it gets close.

You know, I was looking at the atlas, and it looks like the KayakinBoy and Eshaw are practically next door neighbors. Why don't you 2 hook up for this as well?

Maybe I oughta change this to the Duet pass? :laugh:
