The Simplicity Pass

Are you and Tony gonna get together on this, or was I being optimistic about distances (and not thinking about snow :p ) when I made the suggestion?

Tom lives in the next town over, we should be able to hook up. I also got a hold of Captain B and should be able to hand the pass over to him. Now if the pass made it to Pnutbtr, maybe we can meet today or tomorrow. The snow kind of disappeared, but we should be getting more next week.

Well, don't get lost!! I'm sure we'd all understand if you had to burn the sticks to stay alive, rather than lose the dog team, but still.......

I don't know if Pnutbuter got the pass yet but I updated the contents.

Hopefully I'll see the pass sometime early in the week. Did I say it was going to snow on Monday, did I say I may have to use these sticks for a survival package ;) :whistling:

Sorry I couldn't get the color up like my man Geldor did.

Wow!! Looks like the majority of the sticks I started this with have been taken! That is so cool! Thanks for the compliment to my tastes, guys!

Just a reminder, that #10 Cuaba is NOT the rare Distinguidos line, but one of the current Cuabas. A great smoke, I think, and certainly tradeable. :)

For some reason my school hasn't let me know that the package is in the mail center. Anything that has insurance on it takes an extr long time to process for whatever reason. I will let everyone know when it arrives, but I just wanted to say that I am still alive (despite my apparent attempts to alter that this weekend  )

It snowed again last night so no one was in the office yet again. This is absurd. No package has ever taken this long to get here. I'll let you know what happens when call the mail center again.

Exactly how hard is it snowing?!? Whatever happened to "Neither snow, nor
rain, nor gloom of night....."??? :0

That went out when they became an independent company, but I just checked usps.com and it says the package arrived in Trenton meaning that it is very likely somewhere in my school's mail system. I think that I will likely get a notice of it's arrival tonight so that I can meet with tony tomorrow and get it out of my hands then.

I can verify that the school was closed today. It sucks living off campus and having to depend on the school getting your mail to you. :( I am unavailable tomorrow, but if everything lines up we can meet Thursday and will send Bob our puts and takes. So maybe Friday morning I can get this in the mail to CaptainB. :D

Don't forget he's gotta trek 12 miles in that snow, uphill both ways :p

.....barefoot!

And we LIKED it!!!!!

At the college I went to you had to walk up hill from the dorms just to get to the rest of the campus. When it was icy you could stand at the top and be back at the dorm parking lot in a matter of seconds with a couple of broken bones to boot, all you needed was the PUSH OF COURAGE.

OK so I think the mystery has been somewhat solved. I personally went to the mail center to speak with a manager I had never spoken with before and explained the situation. He tells me that there was a package that was delivered to my complex last week but he hasn't seen anything since then. He then told me about procedure to follow for an invetigation if it's lost, etc. but first I should go check the office of the apartments. So tonight I went in there to go see if it was there and sure enough it was sitting right in the corner underneath what looked like a pile of garbage. I asked them if they had any packages in there for me and the guy in there looked around, eventually uncovering the much delayed pass. He asks "Are you Tom Sullivan?" to which I replied "No, I'm Tom Simons", but seeing my CP handle on the address label, I assured him that it was my package. I asked how long it had been there, to which he replied "I have no idea, probably all week." So just because my last name was incorrect, apparently that gave them the bright idea to alert absolutely no one who lives in the apartment that the package was addressed to. I'm in complete amazement that it took so long to get it and if I hadn't done anything about it, the box probably would have sat there all year (scary thought for unexpected packages). However, I believe that tomorrow night, me and tone-ny are going to meet up and sort through it so it can get out ASAP.

Although it was really out of my control, I do dearly appologize for the delay and I think that I'm going to refrain from any more BPs until I'm home and I actually have a permanent address over the summer (or at least one that the freaking PO will deliver to directly!).

Who in the heck cursed this pass by calling it "Simplicity"... :)

My gawd, this has been anything but Simplicity!!! First, the run in with Custom's, now the errant mailroom fiasco!!! This is the pass for the books!!!

Glad it's still alive though!!!

I see my henchmen have executed my plan wonderfully. BWAHahahaha (evil) now those smokes will all be mine! None of you will know where I am or where the box is within 48 hours!

You got that right....after after mail "mystery" this sure seemed kinda fishy ???
