1 for 1 yes, and the good ol' shark always does this in a pass. I recently traded a BTL for a Shark which seemed to work well, rarety for rarety.

All I can say is what Freebern said, run it by us and we can come to an agreement. I have been accused of being too easy on P&T's in passes I have hosted in the past.

I would say a single cigar of substantially greater value ($4-$5 or more) or equal value and equal rarity. That is the guide I would use.

Yup, I know the feeling. When I recently had Ree's pass in my hands there were so many nice sticks that I would have loved to trade for but just didn't have the firepower to match. There was a Cohiba Millennium Piramides, and a Davidoff Millennium Blend Perfecto in there that I have been wanting to try for quite some time now. Sometimes just seeing these cigars live and in person is just as much fun as having it in your humidor.

Look at it this way, now you have something to work towards . Pick up a couple rare smokes in trades or sales, save them in your humidor, and the next pass your in ... your all set. I don't think passes are they way to pick up rare sticks that you don't have but are a good way to trade a rare stick that you may have tried for one you haven't.

i waw in this pickle with a woam in the robusto pass
i really wanted it but didnt have the goods to justify takin it
so i put it back and opted for something i could match.

no big deal, if you have something you think is up to par for that stick then play it

anejo's are only about 3 to 4 weeks from hitting retalers anyway and i plan on eating ramen for a week just so i can stash some of these sticks.

its a judgement call at this point do what you think is right and well all move along

I have no problem putting it back, but I won't be able to ship this out until tomorrow. My takes are at home and I'm at work with the pass. Meanwhile, my local guy say's he might have something for me to trade with. Something in the $15 MSRP. I'll check on the way home, If not I'll put the shark back.

But I must say thank you for not taking this personal. I have seen guys get all worked up over being called out on P&T's. This is a learning experience, nothing personal at all, and you sir have handled yourself quite well. Everybody here has been in your place at one time or another.

Now, if you want to put a Padron 40 Anniversary Maduro in for the Shark :whistling: , I would have no problems with that :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I was just out in Vegas and went the Casa Fuente. They had two sizes of Anjeo but no sharks and they wanted an outrageous amount for them. Of course all of Vegas is pretty expensive, but this was silly. Anyway I couldn't post until now and am glad this thing has been solved. Good job people.
