The Musical Cheese Pass

I hope I don't have the same problem. I ordered mine and it was supposed to arrive FedEx overnight yesterday and still nothing.
 
This cheese part of the Pass is turning out to be quite dificult to coordinate shipping. I'm nervous about sending it out, have something happen in shipping and then having to send out again. This cheese is dificult to source and can be quite costly.

Anybody else?

I agree with you David. I made a mistake with my pick to put in the pass because I could only find it in European online stores and then there's a timeframe that you have to work with as well as far as receiving it. Now that the cheese is late after supposedly being shipped overnight, with what it cost, I'm starting to get worried.
 
Sorrry to hear of your troubles Bruthers. Please PM me or call me and let me help or let me know what I can do to facilitate this. I want to avoid any discomfort in participating in the pass. ;) I've sent a few Cheese PIFs and luckily avoided issues so far. :)
 
According to tracking info My cheese PIF was delivered yesterday, so I am just awaiting confirmation from the person I sent it to.

Hey Brothers,

I've been taking my time shipping this puppy, the Stone himself is at my residence distracting me with delicious sticks, libations and tasty grub.
That being said, he's giving me a run for the money trying to keep up!

I'll have my side shipped monday.

Yeah, I've had some troubles too. I'm a little skittish about mailing this for fear there won't be anyone to pick it up immediately. You'd think winter time w/b OK but jeez, the weather has been really weird lately.

Just here in N. Texas, this weekend will be the third time in about 4 weeks we've 40+ degree temp swings in less than a 24 hour period. Record high in the 80's last week, lows in the 20's 36 hours later. It sucks.
 
My cheese is going out either Monday or Tuesday. The cheese I was supposed to receive already arrived.
 
I'm having another type of trouble... my cheesy recipient knows, so I won't be spoiling it for him. It's too gawd damn cold to smoke the cheese for him!!! It's been no warmer than -5 for over a week, and will be the same for the next week. I need it to warm up slightly (even to 10) before I can use my smoker.

So Brandon... you still have to wait. But I'm making it worth your wait! :whistling: :laugh:
 
Yeah, in order to get the cheese there as fresh as possible, I've let the cat out of the bag as well.

I figure better to do some good coordination with my recipient and get it there fresh, rather than try and surprise him and have it sit around for a week.
 
I'm confirming a schedule with my cheese partner as I want make sure he'll be there when this is shipped straight from the company to him. Cigars will go out tomorrow.

I too confirmed with my target, err.. PIF recipient and it should be there today. :whistling:

My cheese/cigars are both sent out. I had the company mail it straight to him.

Unfortunately, my partner hasn't logged into the site in a month :(.
 
My cheese and sticks have already been sent also and received.

Umm, yep. Your target recieved his package today and an unbelievable one it was too! Thanks so much for the generosity Jeff, everthing will be enjoyed, except for the cheese because it's almost gone already!
 
Ok, finally got an answer from the cheese company. I'll have my cheese here Friday and my cheesey dude will have it that following week.

Woo hoo!
