The GAS Pass 2009

Ok, I'll rethink my first one, and hopefully people will chime in on the last one. Also, I crossed off AVB and Dsav for ya. Also, I killed whoever #30 is. Upon initial inspection there have been no additional casualties... except some strange artsy fartsy glass tubo with no cigar in it... but I suspect I missed that this has already happened because it was in the "info" stuff and not with the cigars. Beads are good too.

Also... Jeff... what did I tell you about being Mac friendly?! You will pay for this! (I can't run the USB thing, no can do on .exe's)
Chris

Edit!!: I remember why I thought this SCdlH for the Hoyo trade was good to go. I looked on vitolas and although they didn't have any reference for the Murala, the most expensive SCdlH that they did mention was $14.30 MSRP, and the Hoyo DCs are an MSRP of $14.80. Anyone got the MSRP for the Muralla?

Vitolas is pretty out of date as far as MSRP's. You have to remember that exchange rates consistently change, and over time there can be large differences in prices. After averaging the two sticks from the same 10 retailers (All which have them in stock) for both of the sticks using 25ct. box price averages for each stick, the MSRPS are:
SCDLH Muralla: $13.61
Hoyo Double Corona: $10.01
Pretty significant difference.

As far as the Aurora Preferidos, they don't carry a rarity factor at all. They are commonly available at almost every retailer as they are distributed by Altadis and are available whenever a shop wants to order them, without fail. Though the Price is higher than an Anejo, I think the put should have a little more rarity.

Just my .02

I agree with Jake on the last put. Price is there, rarity doesn't make it.

Definetly think the Aurora trade comes short. But what do I know.

Brian

My initial thoughts were it was short on rarity, but wanted a consensus.

I also agree with Jake's opinions.

What's the date on the Hoyo?

If it's a 98 or earlier...then we may have a game of it! :D

----------edit-----------

With all of these sale prices - as well as reduced prices - it becomes difficult to gauge a price range.
There have been the same product on some sites(at different close times), with different prices - why? - blowing out 99-01 stock!

When you look at a product and see a great price....check the box code...if it's a cheap price, it's prolly a 99-01.

Now, that stock is hit or miss on plugs, taste, etc....so, do we take that into account
I just look at is as a crap-shoot: take your chances...some of that chit is really good!!!

So let's try this again:
42) San Cristobal de La Habana Muralla '07............................... Cohiba Siglo V (strange one, more expensive at several, a dollar less at one???)
61) La Flor Dominicana Outlaw 2008........................................ Camacho Outlaw 2007 APPROVED
62) AF Hemingway Between The Lines...................................... Hemingway Masterpiece Maduro APPROVED
113) Padrón 1926 1926 #6 .................................................................. La Aurora Preferidos Emerald Perfecto (assuming that that's not from 1926 since it's repeated lol)
Release the hounds!
Chris

Y'all need to hurry the fugg up here! There's some sticks in there that I've been eyein' and I'm sure my suggesteds will be controversial!

Yeah Jeff! You're holdin' me up! :whistling: Too much longer and I'm just takin' Khari's word and makin' the switches!
Chris

Sorry. Was asleep - not everyone does a 9-5  Night owls unite!

Ya - they're fine, Chris. Thanks for playing, bro. Sorry the presentation didnt work on your Mac.

What's the numbering situation look like for the last 12 or so smokes, including yours?

So here is what I found:
118- Cohiba Robusto
119- Monti '05 Limitada
120- Juan Lopez Francia
121- Padron 80th Maduro
122- My Father
123- Padron 64 Torpedo
124- Anejo Shark
125- Anejo 48
So, that's all the smokes from the last two passers accounted for... so I'm not sure why you skipped a couple numbers and went all the way up to 129??? SO, I shall baggy my smokes up starting at 126, and you have you correct numbers above.
Mine will be:
126 Camacho Outlaw Event '07
127 La Aurora Emerald Tubo
128 Hemingway Masterpiece Maduro
129 Cohiba Sigla V
Chris

Brain fart. I dont know why I skipped 4 numbers either. I'll fix it shortly.

It was sent out this morning! I have contacted the recipient via PM and he was ready, so all is well! DC's down in my wallet, so I'll have to grab it later and post it, mainly cause I'm lazy and don't wanna go downstairs right now.
Thanks for letting me play Jeff!
Chris
