There were a few issues:

#2, 25, 66 and 70 had some wrapper damage. Some slight, some not so slight. #56 was completely obliterated by beetles. I have removed this one from the pass. Otherwise, everything looks good.

Last man standing: rectifythis crosses off #6.

Beetles.... ? Uhh..... :angry: ? Throw #56 away - get it out of the pass ASAP. This is a huge concern for me. Where there are some beetles, there are more. Anyone that has had a beetle outbreak knows how crazy these little buggers are. This is not good - not good at all. Now we have to worry about other smokes getting demolished. With the higher end nature of this pass and warmer weather around the corner, I'm very, very, very worried. I suppose we'll have to be extremely vigilant from this point onward.

Awesome :angry: .... four more upper end smokes. Are the packing materials inside the containers inadequate? I placed foam and bubble wrap IN the containers if I remember correctly. Is this not sufficient? Any concerns/input? Remedy suggestions? Anyone?

Please remove the damaged cigars from the pass and please mail them directly to me. I don't want them getting damaged even more... no point in letting them continue on and get completely damaged to the point of being garbage. My correct addy in my profile - I'll send you $5 for your troubles. I don't have another 2004 GoF or a Toboada laying around (I'm sure not too many do :laugh, but the pass already has another DCM S90th - so that'll do, I suppose. I'll personally replace the RdC. I'll see if I can't find something reasonable to replace other 2.

1) I checked four different vendors (all of which are familiars/trusted - available upon request). Two of them have the Trinis on sale. Even factoring in the sales, the average comes to:

Take: $252.80/box of 24 Trini Fund ~ $10.53 per
Put: $233.21/box of 25 Sig IV ~ $9.33 per

3) Cigar #86 is Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos '08. However, that cigar is still in transit to you - it is one of the replacement smokes I sent to Charlie, who gave it to Jon, who mailed it to you. Nonetheless, I checked the same four vendors. The average comes to:

Take: $213.57/box of 25 Boli CG ~ $8.54 per
Put: $186.26/box of 25 CM5 Secretos ~ $7.45 per

4) Good! :thumbs: I will make an exception of rule #8 since the trade obviously generous and the BTL is rare/desirable, probably a little moreso than the WOAM.

The beetle(s) did not appear to escape the baggie that I could tell. Looks like it hatched, munched, pooped and went back into the cigar for pupation. I saw no other evidence otherwise.

Souldog, I received replacement sticks today, but #'s 80 and 84 were not there. If they need to be shipped as well, please forward to the next passer, as I am starting to have computer issues and CP is blocked at work-this is becoming very difficult for me.

I informed Mike that Jon put the cigars in the pass already.
Mike will be mailing me back the damaged smokes.
I will be mailing Niko replacements.
I will pre-baggy, number, and update the main post to help reduce confusion.

Jeff, brother I feel really bad for you, and the unfortunately luck so far in this pass. I have no idea what has happened to the sticks in here, because honestly when the pass was here I even remarked to you that I have never seen a pass that was packaged as well as this one. I hope the problems are all over now because you have already lost some very valuable and difficult to replace cigars.

I replaced the Olive V Maduro Torp and the BGM with the replacement sticks, numbered as #33 and #35. So, either there are doubles of them, or I did it wrong. But check em', they're there. There's no reason I would keep two sticks for myself and mar my reputation of integrity here.

As Jeff and I have conversed, communication between the three passers in my area was utter shit. :angry:
