Great college game - too bad one team had to lose. I agree with the announcers that these 2 are the best two teams in football, but I do think that if Rutgers wins out, they deserve a chance at the title, although I don't think Rutgers will get pass WVU - WVU's offense is almost unstoppable.

It is great to be in Columbus on days like this. So far I have not heard any sirens or smell any cars or couches being burnt, but it is early.
THE Ohio State University won the Championship tonight, and everyone knows it. I hope that Meatchicken doesn't fall too far, but I doubt we will see a rematch, whether or not there should be...

Well Mr. Jay, your team played a great game. Michigan's defense just didn't show up to play. As I said, the key was Woodley and Co. getting pressure on Troy Smith. They started to a little in the end, and he started making mistakes, but they were a little too late.
How unfortunate that Bo passed on the eve of this game. He was truly a legend and will be missed by not only the Michigan community, but the entire college football world. He defined everything that every coach today should strive to be. His entire life was dedicated to Michigan football. He was tough, and always stressed the importance of The Team over everything else. Whether you're an OSU or Michigan fan, you can't help but mourn the loss of someone who's helped build this rivalry to what it is today. There's a biography about him called Bo, which I highly recommend to anyone who's interested. I can only imagine he and Woody turned off the big screen in the sky when the offenses really started rolling. That's far from the Big Ten football they know.
These two teams are clearly the best in the country, and they shouldn't even bother playing the championship game. They should call this the championship, let everyone else play for 3rd place, and let these two teams have the bowl games off.
Jay, you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find an OSU (or even Michigan) hat in this town (at least one that you'd wear). I may end up having to order one online or something, but I'll get it to you ASAP. I have the cigars selected I'm going to send you, and trust me, you won't be disappointed! So as soon as I can locate a hat, they'll be in the mail. Congrats on the big win, maybe we'll see you in Glendale. I'll be up for another wager if we do...

After watching that game, I have to agree that they are the two best teams this year! Now we can listen to the SEC'ers complain about Florida and Arkansas being the #2 team. South Carolina should have beaten Florida at home, and if I'm not mistaken Southern Cal. put 50 points on Arkansas at home!!
If a couple of things happen, I could see a rematch in Glendale, I hope not, as I would rather see THE Game stay where it belongs, either in The 'Shoe or The Big House in front of 100,000+ screaming fans in scarlet and gray or in maize and blue!!
Plus I would like to see The Buckeyes beat S. Cal, and The Wolverines lay about 50 points on either Florida or Arkansas!! End up #1 and #2, and add more fuel to the fire, otherwise known as THE GREATEST RIVALRY in sports!!
My wife and I will be heading to Glendale, so if the planets align, and we do get a rematch, we'll hope to see you there, smoke a few cigars, and talk a great deal of smack.
BTW .. I smoked that ESG right after the game. Decent smoke, but not as tasty as the VSG line, almost a VSG lite, similar profile, but lacking the spice that the VSG's have! Nice smoke, but not worth the price of admission!

Well I finally got around to figuring out how to get the pictures posted! Jay, like I said in my PM, I have a surprise picture for you, Jim Tressel wearing your hat!
A couple pictures of me wearing your hat. I had the camera on a timer and it would NOT focus and I could not bring myself to smile. Must have been the sweatshirt and hat combination...
Here are a couple pics of the hat and the cigars. I hope you enjoy them. The GOF I believe is a Churchill and the Trinidad is from 4/00.

LMAO...That's definetly a classic, almost as good as the game!! I never thought I liked maize and blue, but when you "top" it with a bit of scarlet and gray, I have to admit it looks pretty good!!
I was worried that the stress of THE GAME would take its toll on Coach Tressel, and it looks like my fears were realized!! Hopefully, the long layoff between the Michigan game and the BCS National Championship game will give him enough time to recover!!
Please don't include any of that dog's "rockets" along with my cigars!!
