The Fuente Family: An American Dream - DONE!

Was lucky enough to watch both DVDs this weekend. What a great story! I did not know anything about Fuente, let alone how it started in the US. I love those stories of the small business man making it big and carrying that on with the family.

Thanks for the opportunity Jimmy. I have not had the funds or time to dive into the Fuente brand yet, but that DVD is pushing me over the edge.

I will say that I loved the documentary portion of it, but I loved the extras even more! I really enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes, cutting room floor stuff. The time spent in the aging rooms and rolling rooms were great. I am reserving my next purchase for some Fuentes and if I am lucky, maybe some Opus.

So true.. had a couple great cigars this weekend. Haven't gotten a chance to watch the DVD's, but will try to turn them around ASAP.

I guess Nihon_Ni will be in Australia for the next three weeks. Is there anyone else Interested in the dvd ? Or should I just hang on to it Untill he gets back ?

I'd be interested but I usually only get "cigar time" on Fridays when I'm off and the wife works. So it probably wouldn't be until after next week that I'd be able to get it out in the mail again. I guess it's up to emoshun whether it's ok for me to cut in.
 
Just got home and the package was in the oven ... I mean mail box. We're in the middle of a mini-heat wave here in MI but everything was in good condition. :thumbs:

I may get to watch this earlier than I had anticipated since the wife is working overtime this week. I'll post an update when I'm done.
 
I've finished up the main content on the DVD. I would like to get a chance to watch some of the bonus content but I don't have to. I've sent Nihon_Ni a PM letting him know that the pass is ready to go when he gets back.
