Whew...thanks for the pass bags Greg...I forgot to mention that the pass was a little light on these (like none ;) )

Yes I got it lasnight at 11 pm when I got home from work. I am going through it tonight and getting it out tomorrow. Penalty cigar included :D

Nice P/Ts Alan :D ..lets make a slight change here...i want to get away from quantity making up for quality. that'll mean that the next time the pass goes around the last person will be stuck with lesser quality cigars in more quantity...dont want that.

i like that you stuck in those extras, but the havanas that you took were better than the havanas you put...no worries though cuz i didnt really specify. but remember, this is everyones pass!!!

but, hey, this is gonna be a long pass...we'll iron out the wrinkles on the way!

where i see the real big beefs occuring is when it becomes the hosts turn (me this time) to originate the next pass and he cherrypicks all the good cigars and starts the next leg out with the mediocre ones. thats why im trying to stray away from having those cigars in the lineup at all. Alan, this is not to say that any of the cigars you put were mediocre! i just want to start a dialogue now so that we can all be happy later...just remember...when its YOUR turn to host the gobstopper, your reward will be at least 20-30 cigars on the backend, so your P/Ts along the way should take that into account. ;)

Hmmmmm........let's see. Where I buy my cigars a well know site here is how I figured this.

put Torano 1059 $4.08
take Joya $3.16

Put RyJ corona $6.32
take Bolivar Royal $6.60

Put Cohiba Robustos $11.44
Take Trinidad Fundadore $ 13.36

The other 3 puts was one for a penalty and I put in 2 other cheaper cigars if someone else in the pass didnt have any higher end to play. I didnt realize that a $.32 and a $1.92 difference in price was that big a deal. Next time I will match cent for cent.
 
alan everything is fine...i just wanted to clarify things going forward. i make the assumption that people who are in this pass saw the lineup beforehand and realized the quality of the pass. remember, when i first started asking about who wanted in this pass i was asking for 10 people and here we are with over 20. if someone down the line feels that they aren't going to be able to match up in terms of quality they should speak up now.

Well put Barney :) That was a heavy list you started us out with. No one should feel embarrassed if you need to fall out. Pass season is officially open, many more opportunities to come.

ok, so this looks like a 2 day penalty to me...alan you need to reach into your humidor buddy ;)

Hey guys got the Box today. Did a quick lookover and everything looks good so far. Will get put's and take's posted this weekend.

Humidity was at 67% when I cracked her open.
