Smokyballs said:Why... Andrew? The words Drew Estates sends a chill up my spine. The ultimate dog rocket.

When I thought of Drew Estates, I thought of an overly perfumey Acid that a friend gave to me as a joke. It smelled like an old lady that had O.D.'d on an incense scented perfumed. I pretty much wrote off any and all Drew Estates cigars. However, I smoked a few of the La Vieja Habana, a D.E. cigar which is not that bad. It is a traditional cigar made of traditional tobaccos, a mixed filler cigar if I recall.
Then, in an attempt to keep an open mind, I smoked a D.E. Natural Root that I had picked up at Cigar Fest 2005. I smoked it about 4 weeks after Cigar Fest. I was quite impressed with the cigar. I could not see smoking it on a regular basis, but I would definitely buy a box to keep on hand when I wanted something different.
The point is that you should not write off any cigar until you have given it a fair try. And you might even be pleasantly surprised.
