Jose's wish wasn't up. Let's not get this off on a tangent. Mercado Libre is up.

Jose, you have to fill someone's wish in order to make a wish. That's why you're not up.

It'll be about an hour before I put my wish up; I have to get back home first. I'm at the shop right now and need to clean up.

I really appreciate you guys letting someone without many posts on here come in and participate in such camaraderie. It shows how much of a community this really is.

But given what I know that's not posted here, as communicated to me by Jake, I have no reason to doubt that Rod and the rest of the gang here are very good people.

WHOAAAA Jose..... slow down. I didn't know where to post this because you're all over the place. I just saw a post of yours in the "Pass" section saying you've been here for a few months and you want to get a pass started??? You say you're from Illinois and you like cigars. It looks like you've been here about 3 weeks. It might be prudent if you fill out your profile and just kind of observe for a while before jumping in with both proverbial feet.
 
I am sorry, I should have read the post before I tried to jump in. I have actually only been a member for about a month. I thought it was a couple. I apologized/explained that int he pass post also. I didnt want to start a pass, just wondering if any new ones were going to be started. Gonz was nice and hit me to know that the summer is BAD for cigars in UPS trucks for a pass, go figure :) I would love to get involved in this, and will wait until Merc posts his wishes and see if I am first to respond. Thanks guys, and I appreciate not being ripped on too bad for my noobness

Well Jess, seeing as no one has stepped up yet and you're havng a terrible day, I'll get you on the '03 Sir Winnie along with a couple of other "similars". Hope that makes your day a little better. ;)

Here's what happened: I parked at the pump of a local gas station near my apartment complex, walked into the Subway in the gas station with the intention of buying gas afterward, and got towed. I saw it get towed and ran out, but they didn't stop.

Worse, my phone was in the car. Therefore... I didn't have anyone's number to call and pick me up! Still worse, the woman at the towing company said they couldn't just bring the car back and have me pay the fine at the gas station, even though it wasn't far by that point...

So I ran back to my apartment complex (when I posted that "poor day" bit) and messaged a friend (BigJake, actually) who then called our friend Sean, who then picked me up and drove me 30 minutes to the towyard.

Still worse, I have a test in an hour... that I was going to study for this afternoon. Oh well, it's economics, which I'm rather good at. Besides, the professor will understand, he's a nice enough guy.

Phew. Not to wallow in pity, just figured I'd let you guys know what happened.
