I don't have anything against the glass door option. I just like the fact that it looks more like a classy piece of furniture with the all wood look. I guess its just more appealing to me.

Darren

You're right. Plus with the glass door you'd have to make sure all the racks, shelves, boxes & cigars are always neat since it's all viewable from the outside. I'm gonna go without the glass door option. Hopefully I don't have to wait to long to get it. Thanks everyone.

Swissy, how does it hold RH? Does the top drawer seal well?

Dom

the top drawer seals great... never had an issue with it. And I LOVE the drawer... I keep a couple of cigars from each box in the drawer, so I don't always have to open up the main compartment. Although I do from time to time just because!

RH is just dandy... like Darren, only time it changes is 1) if the temp does and 2) if my beads are starting to dry out- and that takes some time.

I do not regret NOT getting the glass door... this is now a piece of furniture in our family room, and having it solid wood constructions makes it fit in perfectly with the decor... the glass door would be cool, but in my use it would not fit in. And this way I have to open the thing up to see what I have, and that allows me to take a good deep breath of that wonderful smell.

No regrets on the humi whatsoever. However, that being said, when I retire I will buy a nice, fancy and BIG Aristocrat humi! :whistling:
