You, me and guinessguy. We'll invite Alex the Guacamolian, of course - should be a great time (like last time)...

Guinessguy - can you come down to Schaumburg? There's a place called Fox and Hounds we went to last time that was a great place! Had a mini-herf - food, drinks and of course Cigars, Cigars, Cigars!!!!

I'm looking forward to it!!

Added two cigars to the initial lineup.
Added the pass order.

And here are my stories:
Stories
Onyx Reserve Mini Belicoso - this cigar was like smoking an espresso. I could not sleep the night I smoked it.

Oliva Master Blend Robusto - Rave reviews all over the place, but I find these too spicy for my taste.

Oliva Bold Ovation - another butt-kicker that I need to avoid.

Macanudo Hyde Park Maduro - bought these early on because I kept hearing how Macanudo is a good beginners cigar. It was good, but uninspiring.

Punch Double Corona - these actually have a good nutty, woody taste. They just are not as good as others that I've been smoking lately.

Perdomo2 Millenario - I really liked Perdomo2's thich chocolatey taste, but for some reason I have not been enjoying these lately.

CAO L'Anniversaire Maduro Belicoso - This cigar is very similar to the Perdomo2 Millenario, I think it had a slight anise flavor to it that I did not find in the Pedomo2.

CAO L'Anniversaire Extreme Corona - Too strong for me. This one made me take a nap instead of going shopping with the wife like I was supposed to (well, I guess it wasn't all bad).

K. Hansotia Symphony Churchill - I bought a box based on rave reviews on CP, I find them pleasant but rather dull.

Perdomo LaTradicion Maduro 'R' - Love the LaTradicion maduro 'X', so I thought I would try a smaller version. The flavor from the 'P' seems thinner to me.

El Rey Del Mundo Robusto Larga - Bought based on 4 cigars in this line making it into the top 25 under $6 on Top25cigar.com (http://www.top25cigar.com/reviewdatabase/top25reviews_subsix.asp). This cigar tastes like dishwater to me.

PAM Torpedo - I just smoked a PAM 1926 #6 and it was great. The thing is that I can't imagine being able to sustain that much flavor over a larger cigar.

Actually, it's supposed to be shipped to me first THEN you. Didn't Monkey PM you? :whistling: :whistling: ;)

Alex said he would be up for it also. Said he would bring your sticks from the box of magnum's for you George.

Sorry guys, I wanted to get this out tomorrow. I'm all flued out and going to bed early tonight. I will do my best to get it out on Wednesday.

Woo-hoo!, don't worry about it at all, anticipation is the fun part. Oh wait....we're talking about cigars not....................

I ain't never been last before. I gets to watch them "come and go, go and come". LOL I wonder how many of you are old enough to know the song that quote comes from.

ATTENTION ALL YOU MCWs!!!

Got a cigar that made your head spin? Made you run for the porcelain room? :D
Put it in there. I'm looking for a good morning cigar. LOL :p

Some of us also think green is good!

This should be interesting. I've already told our host that given his preferences, the first cigar I would have recommended to him was the ERDM Robusto Larga, but he no like. Just goes to show YMMV.

I'm trying to figure out what to replace a pardron torp with... something I didn't like, but a super premium... hm... time to go rummaging.

The box is reenforced, loaded and ready to go. With the reenforcements, you will find it easiest to open the box from the labeled side. I will hit the PO at noon and rknicker should see it on Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

As the host in the last pass I played said,
"This pass now belongs to everyone who is in the pass.
Treat it as such ok?
When you get it take care of it as you would your own smokes."

And rknicker, as the rules mentioned, this pass does not require value for value trades. Some cigars will be traded for less than their value, and some will be traded for greater than their value. My notion is somewhat idealistic (as is any pass, with the sending out of lots of $$ worth of cigars to the great unknown), but if we can all see past the balance sheets this pass will be a lot more interesting. :D

Oh goodie-goodie-goodie!, :D don't forget the tracking # there Monkey, can't wait to follow this baby the entire way through. Oh this is going to be fun!.

don't worry, I have plenty of stuff that I've tried but don't like. I think you're going to end up with a LOT of smokes when this is done.

DC# 0103 8555 7494 0578 3369

You know rknicker, I didn't really think about the what comes back part. Only the fun of hearing about the well regarded cigars that people don't like and then the responses from people who like them.

Heck, I'm already almost out of space. My 52qt cooler has enough cigars for me for the next 8 years. If I wind up with a lot of smokes, I'll probably have to go on a few bombing runs. :0

-edit: I got the DC# wrong the first time.

Also, thanks to whoever moved this to the "Cigar Passes In Progress" forum!

What would be cool is if you know that someone after you in the pass likes something that you don't, you could be sure to put that.

Just smoked my first Trinidad Fundadore. Talk about being underwhelmed. Unfortuneately for Monkey, I don't have another to put in the pass.
