The Best Cigar of All Time

Cohiba Pyramid EL
Opus X Forbidden X from the original (red) DVD set...this is the long, skinny one
Bolivar Corona Extra (98)
HdM Double Corona (01)

A Montecristo believe it or not. It was an '85 Especial No. 1 gifted to me by a most generous brother. So refined, so smooth. It was a 90 minute symphony in my mouth.

Its all about the PSD4 for me. I have a few others that come close -

Siglo VI
PAN #35

Still waiting to get my hands on ANEJO. I hear the shark(as Matty Vegas posted) is the way to go. :whistling:

Lkyman - Scott

This is the PAM I had on New Years Eve 2005 with my buddy Joe and a Bottle of Blue

This was the best combo plater. As for best cigar period, My first Monte #2 that I got at the
Davidoff shop in London. I just remember it blowing my mind!

Cheers

Well this is not something you can easily answer, just like someone asking you what's your favorite movie. It's hard to tell. The first PAM´64 I had was great, a Principe. I actually made it last for two hours, trying to enjoy it as much as possible. The first Punch Punch I had was also perfect. The only Anejo I have had was perfect. Some day I would like to remind myself of that experience.

That is an extremly hard question to answer by just choosing one as being "the BEST"! I have to admit I tried to single out that one special one but alais there a just so many special ones to consider as the top runners

The best & last few that I had this year though ALL share pne common trait. The were all enjoyed in the best of company with dear ffiends & family. The last few that are etched in my memory are:

Trinidad Robusto Extra I enjoyed 4th of July at my friends porch in NJ after a hearthy BBQ coupled with some fine vino & fireworks.

A box of Quai D'Orsay Coronas enjoyed daily during a little vacation in the sweltering heat of South Beach right before Wilma arrived.

Padron 1964/26 with a good out of town friend of mine on a hot spring afternoon in ChiTown soaking up the sights :p

And many others all special for the same unifying reason but all pretty much excellent & unique for themselves ...

Some ISOMs, Opus and Anejos are nice, but NOTHING comes close to the rich taste and the overwhelming enjoyment of a PAM Torpedo!!

Swissy got me hooked on those too...damn you!!! :p :p

I have to correct this and now say the Torano Virtuoso. I smoke this after Thanksgiving dinner and am still thinking about it today :D . Great smoke!!

Cigars come in all flavors, sizes, shapes. What I want to know here (and it's really for selfish reasons...looking to try new smokes and get varied opinions) is the following: Tell me the top ONE or TWO (no more) of the best cigar you've EVER smoked (and what made it so damn good!)and please clarify whether it was an ISOM (for us newbies). I am looking forward to some opinions from seasoned FOGs!

so mine..

ISOM - MonteCristo EL 2003 ed. C - tastes outstanding and burned remarkably well and even.

I'd have to aggree with you on this. The Monte "C" EL 2003 is something else.

C&R

I would have to say a 1998 Monte #2 while sitting in a strip club in Mexico.
I'm sure it had nothing to do with my environment :D
