the "all my humidor (almost)" pass

OK - I can't pass up a good pass... throw me in towards the end (although I am afraid of how much this is going to cost to ship at the end :0).

(psssssssst...hey jolly) you DEFINATELY want cigah_smoka in this pass, he works at a HUGE cigar shop!! :)

heh, you're at nubmer 12

you know, i think it's more interesting if you get to specify at where you want to be at to recieve the box, so you can get you get what you think will be in the box.

no?

priority shipping is 2 days... always.... less it's one :D

as for how the cigars will be shipped and stuff, i was thinking of either shipping my humidor or putting them in some bags with some humidification devices.

anyone have a lot of those small ziploc bags i can buy?
or point me to a place where i can buy them?

i'm letting just about anyone in this pass :D
haven't rejected anyone yet!

Darn it, I forgot where these guys get the baggies but SD_Stack knows for sure.

Also, I'd advise against shipping the humi, it's awfully heavy, isn't it?

No offesne but what planet did you say you're from, MARS? (I cheated, I looked at your profile :D )

I've had many, many cases where priority across the country (say California to Connecticut) is three or four days. Hawaii to Connecticut is never LESS than four. That "2 day" is more of a nice idea rather than a guarantee.

Hey, your pass but generally good practice it to keep it arranged geographically.

little bit.

i dunno, it really woudln't be worht shipping the humi unless there was some way to guarantee the box won't tip over or anything.

yea i need to get like a jillion of those baggies.

you get my request yet?? Oh, I can get you bags and humi packs from work........but it's gonna cost you that #5 spot :sign:

I just shipped something priority mail from here in MN to TX (which you wouldn't think is THAT far away) and it's gonna take 4 days.

you're already on there silly

really?
i shipped something from indiana to cali and it took 2 days.

You got lucky

Now, I know you guys are getting sick and tired of me bragging about how I won the CigarPool twice this year but Jolly take it from me, I've received literally hundreds of packages from all over the country and Priority Mail is hardly ever two days, believe it or not.

As a matter of fact, there is literally NO DIFFERENCE in time between regular ole First Class which is a heck of a lot cheaper than "Priority Mail", sometimes you get lucky and get it in two days but more often you don't.

sorry, my eyes must not be working properly (don't you hate it when that happens!) I'll sent out some bags and humidipacks on friday...

FedEx?
UPS?
Express Mail?
Priority Mail ?
Regular ole First Class?

Book Rate?

hmmm, i've sent out at least 15 or packages through priority mail, and they seem to always get on target in 2 days.

heh cc. okay.

I'll bet ya a five pack that if I send a package to Gibu in the styx of Kansas via Priotity Mail it WILL NOT get there in two days.

jolly, i can vouch for you...your package did get to me in 2 days! Thanks for the cigar reservation.... :p

My post office was just built last year and I'm less than an hour from an international airport.

Any takers on my bet?

hmmm a nice 5 pack would sound good :D

i dunno. do you have a camera to show that it was going priority and stuff :D
and will gibu be willing to check on the specific day?

Sure, I'll email you a photo of the package as I submit it to the post office.

You can confirm the postmark date with Gibu. He gets his mail delivered to his residence and not a PO Box so that'd work :D

I guess we gotta check with Gibu if you're serious
