Hard Spun, boy did he run a long time in the Derby or Darby since the queen was there. There won't be any good odds to be had on the favorites.

I'm still taking Curlin. Afleet Alex suffered a similar defeat in the Derby a few years ago and came back to win the Preakness and the Belmont.

I may have been acting the fool when it came down to the wire...folks that were at the Outlaw can attest, but there was good reason!!

What an exciting race! I think the margin was about 10" Curlin and his jockey ran a strategically perfect race even after a stumble out of the gate. The best I've seen in a long time.
