Tatuaje Coffee is Here!

I received my coffee today! Cant wait until work tonight so I can brew up a pot and smoke a nice black label tat to go along with it! Thanks! Oh and the bags are freakin sweet~ :D

Got a bag of the Red Label and a sampler of each of the rest.

I am drinking a cup now and let me just say that this stuff is fantastic. The red label has a very medium body and a hint of caramel sweetness. There is no bitter edge whatsoever. I will try and pair these with the appropriate cigars very soon(freakin' crazy Northeast winter weather has my sinuses all messed up). Seems to have just the right amount of caffeine kick and is waking me up very nicely.
 
Glad you like it, we have been working very hard roasting and making sure the coffee is fresh. We just got in another small batch today. So we added quantity back to the websites so everyone can continue ordering, keep in mind if your order doesnt ship the same day that means we are roasting it :) Samplers are back in stock also.

Yep a few pictures of the beans, keep in mind these were taken 5 minutes after roasting so the oil is not come to the surface yet. You can go Here to view the beans and blends. We are currently taking more pictuers and should have those up soon. The bag is a glossy black with a reflective silver foil print so you may not be able to read everything. Very hard to photograph btw.

Got my bag of the brown label yesterday and hijacked the cigar shop's coffee machine in order to make myself (and a few regulars) cups. WOW! This stuff is so smooth, not bitter at all. I had it with a Cojuno 2006 and it really does go together quite well. The first cup I made like my usual coffee, with sugar and cream, but the second (and third) cup I drank black. I couldn't believe how good this stuff was with no sugar/cream added to it. Smooth, flavorful and tasty!

Oh, btw, MindRiot. You guys left out my complimentary box of Tat browns! What the heck man? Don't worry about it though, I'll forgive you cause the coffee was so good. :D
 
Thanks for the great review, and I am glad you liked the cofffee. I didn't really leave that box out I am smoking them right now :whistling: lol
 
Drinking a cup of the Red Label now and it is some great tasting, smooth coffee. The beans were nearly dripping with oil they were so fresh. Incredible aroma and taste. I even ate some of the beans raw they looked so good!

My compliments to the roaster and the blender. Great job. :)
 
Just ordered the sampler. Can't wait to try the Tatuaje coffee. Now if I had a few Black Label cigars to compare with the Black Label coffee... :whistling:

This is great stuff!

How much will it lessen the flavor if i grind say a weeks worth and keep it in a sealed container?
 
Hey Gator,

I don't recommend doing that, leave the beans in whole form until you want to make some. Also don't put them in the freezer or fridge, basically if you had a container that has a one way valve or is air tight just leave them in that.
