Ok so I am going to try to make a long story short lol. Last year Me, Pete and my business partner Paul were all smoking Tatuaje cigars and drinking coffee and wanted to pair coffee with Pete's killer Tatuaje cigars. So after months of blending and smoking we have finally released 4 blends of coffee that match his cigars. The Red Label (Havana VI), The Brown Label, The White Label (Coffee is blended to pair with the Cabaiguan also) and the Black Label. I could go into a lot of detail but I will let everyone go to the website to get the info. Tatuaje Coffee Website

We are still adding pictures and such to the site and you can order from there or from Silo Cigars.

Silo Cigars, Tatuaje Coffee Section

Keep in mind the coffee is roasted the day you order it, so shipping happens the next day. We will have 10 lbs of each blend delievered to us tomorrow so for advanced tastings order now. Also we will only ship Monday-Thursday because we want you to get the freshest coffee possible. Silo Cigars will also feature Tatuaje Coffee and Tatuaje Cigar pairings.

oh btw I am offering the coffee here first due to the limited supply!!! This is an ongoing project but we are delayed due to the coffee bags printing technique (yes they are freaking cool looking) Gloss black with Silver Foil print. So we will be tooled up next week for the full onslaught.

Thanks
Kevin

is the price on the site per pound?

Tim

yes the price is per pound. only whole bean coffee. oh and thanks, we are still working on the site. pictures will be coming soon of the roasting and coffee bags.

Great idea & cool site. Nice addition to the line. I'll be ordering some soon but first I'll mooch :whistling: a cup from Joss to see which one I like. :D

k all pm's answered. To clarify, these blends of coffee were made to pair with Tatuaje cigars. The cigars we matched were for the brown label coffee it was a Cojonu. For the red label coffee it was a east/west coast, for the black well that is obvious and the white was actually for the Cabaiguan Guapo.

The blends cross over very well if you just smoke a brown/red or white label or a Cabaiguan cigar. If you have any more questions just ask, or just listen to the music on the tatuajecoffee.com site lol.

Kev,
As I said when we talked the other day... great idea. I hope it goes well. LMK when we can get a bag to try at the Leaf. Website looks great, too. Good Luck,
Mike

Mike I will bring you a bag o Tatuaje Coffee on my way home.

Thanks for the support guys, the coffee just showed up and it is still warm from the roaster. So once it is packaged and shipped it should be ready to grind and drink you you guys get it. All packages will ship today, and I am interested in feedback about the coffee bags. The site and bags were the toughest part, I wanted something different and very cool so I hope everyone likes it as much as I do.

Thanks Again
Kevin

Kev dropped off my bag Wed afternoon. I'll be drinking a cup or two Thurs morning and I'll try to give a review. Yes, the bag is really nice. All black mylar with embossed "tatuaje" logo in silver. Very classy.

I just added pictures to the site to show the color of the roasted beans, keep in mind these pictures are only hours after roasting them. The oils are just now coming to the surface and will get more oily by the time the beans arrive to your door.

Had 2 or 3 cups of Black Label this morning. Very good coffee, with a deep, rich profile. Just a bit of mild acidity and pretty well balanced. I noted a hint of Pop Tart in the finish... oh wait. That was my Pop Tart I was eating. Never mind.

Since I sell coffee too, I am a little biased toward my own beans. But overall, I liked it and lovers of everything Tatuaje will love it as well.

Good job, Kev

glad you liked it, keep in mind I dropped it off 3 hours after roasting. Another day and it should be better for you, did you drink it straight or add cream and sugar? The beans are already getting a nice sheen of oil on them now so by tomorrow it should be all gooder :D

we will be putting some samplers together next week along with some cigar coffee combos :)

Dam posting with a iPhone is difficult

A sampler is now on both sites, which includes 2 ounces of each blend. So a 1/2 pound total which should yield a little more than a 12 cup pot of each blend. Enjoy.
