Ok, so I have tried a vast majority of the Tatuaje line, and I must admit I have had a few cigars that just didnt taste right to me (out of the same box as great cigars). Although I have to say a majority of the Tats have been fantastic. As everyone knows there is such a hype (online and at B&M's) about the Tat Blacks that I think some people are just buying them to say they have them and not truly enjoying them. Hopefully im not posting in the wrong forum, but can someone that likes the line and has smoked the line please review a Tat Black for me so I can determine if its worth the price tag for 19 sticks.

Also, with that being said (again, hopefully not the wrong forum), if anyone has a stick or 5 that there willing to part with, I can trade or $$$..

Hope to see you guys come through for me (yet again) at this site.

Thanks!!

I am a huge fan of Tatuaje and as some may remember, in a blind taste test, I absolutely hated the Black Label. I think something may have been wrong with me that day though and I look forward to trying another.

I personally like the cigar. I've given some as gifts, when I had them, that were very well received. In addition, the Corona Gorda is my favorite size. So when I find a cigar that sings in that size, I'm quite happy. I like them in my top ten.

I like em. Smoked several and enjoyed them all. I really loved East Coasts at the time Blacks came out and the Black was a sweet find considering they are the PJ personal blend. Since learning more about PJ, I have to say I still like the cigar anyway. Originally they came in a bundle and singles were available. I think they were $10.50 or $11 and would buy some more singles for sure. For me, they are a right there with some of my favorite spicey top shelf sticks. Haven't really noticed the hype myself. I feel the NUB was the center of most of the cigar world hype the last few months. NUB, NUB, NUB. Got sick of that well before they were released. Doesn't seem to be following the V's footsteps so far.

5 5/8 x 46 corona gorda for the jars, but there's rumors of a robusto size which will be handed out at events in 3 packs.

I have a friend that is in the cigar industry and just got back from Nicaragua with Eric of 601. I was soooo upset with him when he told me that he was there as they were rolling/packing the Black and he did not get one. Many were offered to him, yet he refused to take them. (WHAT!!!) Soooooo Pisssssed at him. He told me this story (laughing as he said the story) after I asked him if he could get them for me.

My local B&M actually has a computer monitor in the lounge with the tracking information from Fed Ex on where the Tat Blacks are. He has it all set up to google maps. Some people are making a very big deal over these.
