Was it wise to take out a 2nd mortgage to buy cigars? Seems ok to me 😜

Here’s my cart, obviously ordering small qty until i can narrow down taste profiles i like, any input is good, even if you tell me I’m a fktard, I’d probably agree…

I'm lucky, with a cabinet I'd gone reasonably deep over the last decade, when stuff was on sale. Honestly, I'm not sure if the cost / benefit ratio for ISOM's will ever work out for me, going forward. There are very reasonable alternatives...... 😎

Honestly, I've been thinking about selling some elsewhere....easily worth 5X what I paid for them.

Personally I would stick with the smaller boutique brands as they are much more reasonably priced. The flagship brands like Cohiba, Monte, Partagas etc. are obscene now. Watch for sales.

As an almost exclusive smoker of Cuban leaf might I also suggest alternatives such as Johnny O!, custom & farm rolls? These are my primary buys these days.

Yeah, I pick some up on my travels, but honestly for the price the Fab5 can't be beat, not exactly ISOM, but good/close enuff for the $$$

Between Johnny-O and Fabrica Five....that palate of flavors is pretty well covered. Not "the same as..." but great smokes, reasonably priced. Tough to justify c-note cigars....

I’ll never ever drop the kind of $ that many of these Cuban sticks are going for, my head would explode if a $100 cigar was plugged, pretty good chance of that happening. I did order a starter order, a couple 10 boxes, but mostly 5 packs, trying to narrow down the brands I like best.

Thanks for the link Tim. After reading through it I’m still not sure where their product is grown and rolled.

DR, Honduras, not sure if there's any NC in the blend or not. I've enjoyed them; a nice change up in the smoking rotation, to be sure.

I think there are a couple Honduran puros, and some that don't list the details, but most that I checked looked pretty much like this:

Not positive where they're from but I can tell you that the MOFOH Fat Fundi is a damn good smoke.

MOFOH Piramide Corta Suave
Puro Desnudo - Queen Corona N5

are the in-stock options that are on my radar

Puro Desnudo - Canonazo N6 are FANTASTIC!
Puro Desnudo - Piramide N2 are sold out, but I hope they will be in stock when I am ready to buy

Been eyeing the Piramide Corta Suave and Queen Corona as well. The descriptions sound amazing.
I have a bundle of the Canonazo N6 as well and it's a great smoke but I was shocked at how close the Fat Fundi tasted to a real one.

I got some of the QC's and really liked them. Great, flavorful cigars. Their Petite Corona N4 is pretty darn tasty, as well. I'll be buying more, as well as more from our friend Johnny-O.

I second this absolutely.

Anybody interested in a split? Would love to try some but don’t want a box.
